The Maurice Akueme Foundation Visits Health Care Facilities, Offsets Piled Up Bills
The Maurice Akueme Foundation on Tuesday doled out thousands of Naira, to offset bills for hospital detainees ahead of Christmas.
The organization visited various health care facilities to pay off bills for patients who had recovered, but for one reason or the other, have not been able to go back home to join other family members.

Speaking at one of the facilities, the Chief Coordinator, Chris Enemoh reiterated the foundation’s unreserved efforts towards humanity, while praying for quick recovery of all sick persons, using little Precious (10) as a point of contact, he also thanked the founder/president, Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme for giving the sick another opportunity and reason to smile.

The Coordinator of the Girls Empowerment Initiative Club of the Maurice Akueme Foundation, Amaka Ozougwu who went in company of the Chief Coordinator, also added her voice, she called on philanthropists and well wishers to always check on the sick, she said that strong health has been undermined in our society because we are stronger, she also stated that considering the height of medical detainees, there is need for more Charitable organizations to emulate The Maurice Akueme Foundation to come to the rescue of these persons by making out time to visit the sick in various hospitals and donating to their welfare too.
Some of the hospitals visited include; UNTH, Health center, Akama, St. Leo Hospital, Parklane, Enugu, among others.
