He admitted that the widows housing scheme beneficiary is his own direct sister from the same clan who lost her husband but went away to live in the mud house because the family could not provide a place for she and her seven children, until the ordeals of the woman got to Akueme who swung into action to provide her shelter. He furthered that, in as much as the house was built directly and personally for the former homeless widow, it is done for the entire clan and community of Nenwenta and as well Awgu in general. Mr. Ferdinand said it started like a dream until materials started arriving the community in trailers, and when the construction was completed and commissioned by Chief Maurice Emeka Akueme who visited Nigeria for the purpose.

“It is also surprising that after doing all that he had done for us, Ifunanya, the MAF coordinator of Nenwenta called us that Akueme again was set to cloth widows of Nenwenta. There are so many widows in Nenwenta, but we are satisfied with the little we have received from an individual so far, however, we have selected 20 persons, two from each red cap chief, and non of them have ever benefitted anything from anybody in their entire live”, He said.

Chief Albert Onyemaechi also appreciated the team, the process and the founder, for finding them worthy of more and more of his gifts.
